Being a PFM just got better

APC is launching five new benefits for our Pharmacy-Facility members to help you and your business prosper.

What’s new?

more ways to lower credit card processing fees

We have two new ways to help you lower your credit card processing fees and achieve a 2.5% – 2.8% overall effective rate:

  1. A new deal with CashierLive for POS and merchant services to help our Paladin and RxDispense customers.
  2. Lower negotiated rates with HealNow for online and card-not-present transactions, and you don’t need LegitScripts accreditation.

We know you’re paying too much in credit card fees — usually way above 3%. And our first deal to solve that problem — much lower processing rates negotiated through WorldPay — helped some of our PFMs save up to $5,000 a month. But because the problem is complex, that deal didn’t work for a lot of you, especially if you use certain pharmacy software vendors or don’t have LegitScripts accreditation. We’re working on adding more tools to the toolbox, with more to come in October.

CashierLive

We’ve negotiated a deal with CashierLive for POS and merchant services that allow Paladin customers something to switch to and allow RxDispense customers some savings on credit card rates.

HealNow

With HealNow’s online payments and patient engagement platform, you don’t need LegitScripts accreditation for online and card-not-present transactions — and APC has negotiated considerably lower rates for online transactions for PFMs. You also get a waived one-month subscription fee, a waived setup fee ($250), and a waived one-month custom-domain fee ($83).

In this initial phase, lower rates are only available to new customers, but once a certain volume threshold is met, both new and existing customers can take advantage of the lower rates.

HealNow handles the underwriting and approval process (at no charge) to avoid you paying hidden fees and surcharges for card-not-present fees.

UniPen best pricing

Thanks to our agreement with Love Lifesciences, PFM members are able to buy popular UniPen self-injectors at a discount — “industry-best pricing.” UniPens are a great way to make sure your patients are self-administering properly, and to increase their adherence.

As a therapeutically agnostic injection safety system, UniPen is a solution for compounding pharmacies seeking additional options for patients who need
self-administered injectable medications, providing pre-set medication dosing and anti-needlestick features.

A 20% discount (and free onboarding) on the Pharmacycompounding.ai Chat Companion: It’s not just another AI chatbot. Pharmacycompounding.ai’s Chat Companion is a closed system specifically designed for compounding pharmacies and trained only on industry data. In a nutshell, you have 24/7 access to an expert on USP 795, 797, and 800 compliance, compounding calculations, SOPs, and more.

Certification report review from Veteran Scientific

The vast majority of certification reports have errors, but you can catch them before submitting yours with a certification review. The Compounding Facility Certification Surveillance (CFCS) program will give an expert review of your certification reports. PFMs get best pricing on the program: The price of the review service is typically 15% of the invoiced price of the certification report you want reviewed, including any microbiology lab results, but PFMs can get a review for 10% of the invoiced price instead.

The program includes an in-depth review, help with remediation (and even contract renegotiation), reassessment of their environmental sampling plan, and more. That’s just for starters — there’s ongoing review and even training assistance:

These are in addition to the long list of benefits that PFMs already receive, making PFM membership a no-brainer for large and small compounding pharmacies (and chains).
