The American Diabetes Association recently released a statement on compounded GLP-1s — a statement that has garnered some headlines. Unfortunately, some of the association’s claims were misrepresentations, and others are just flat wrong. 

APC, of course, issued a formal statement pointing out the … alternative facts the ADA presented. (“ADA’s sweeping assertions about the quality and therapeutic value of compounded medications are simply not accurate,” we wrote.) You can read the full statement here.
