Don’t skip EduCon’s final (fantastic) session(s)

The final session of this year’s EduCon is coming up in just a few weeks, and it’s a special double helping of legal goodness focused on hand-holding prescribers and wiggle-room (or not) in USP 795.

  • Part I: Law: Helping Prescribers Navigate Compounding’s Regulatory Environment
  • Part II: Patient Safety: What 795 Doesn’t Talk About

Together they’re on September 23 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm EDT, taught by Matt Martin, PharmD, BCSCP of PCCA, and both are sponsored by the Pharmacy Compounding Foundation.

Great news for certified techs: These qualify as your annual required Law and Patient Safety CE hours!

Would you like to know more?

Part I: Sometimes prescribers need a bit of hand-holding when it comes to working with a compounding pharmacy. There is … let’s call it an “intricate regulatory landscape” to deal with, and they’ll need your help. This session will teach you to guide them through the regulatory maze toward the metaphorical cheese of a productive (and, dare we say profitable?) relationship.

Part II: The latest revisions to USP <795> have made the requirements of nonsterile compounding clearer, but that doesn’t mean there isn’t enough wiggle room to get yourself in hot water. This session will help you find and use the available resources to make — and justify — your decisions for your patients and their prescribers.

If you missed either of the first two EduCon sessions, you’re not too late. You can still get 2 hours of live CE (and the 4 hours you missed can be claimed as home study credit).

We know you’re busy, but it’s great practical training on one of the hottest topics in compounding right now. Register here (and bring your friends to get a discount).
