Call for nominations: APC 2025 Board of Directors
The nomination period for the APC 2025 Board of Directors has closed.
We’re seeking passionate, informed, influential compounding leaders to help guide our alliance as members of the APC Board of Directors.
Here’s what the job entails:
- Strategic thinking
- Stakeholder engagement
- Resource allocation
- Holding APC accountable to the board-ordained outcomes we’re pursuing
- Occasional crystal ball-reading
Now is no time to sit back. The challenges confronting the profession are many. If compounding has been good to you, consider lending us what you’ve learned. Consider putting your knowledge and leadership ability to work on behalf of your profession. Work with us to confront those challenges.
Requirements
APC board members must be:
- A current APC member in good standing
- Willing to prepare, participate productively, and attend regularly scheduled board meetings including three face-to-face meetings in person or via teleconference
- Able to meet the time requirements
- Teleconference meetings generally run about two hours; face-to-face meetings about three to four hours
- Time to read and review the provided meeting materials prior to the meeting
- Willing to serve on at least one APC committee, which meets an additional one to two hours per month per committee
- Willing to share their knowledge, values, skills, and expertise to the board’s efforts to fulfill its responsibilities
The process
The Nominating Committee will receive nominations and recommend a slate of candidates to run for office. The APC Board of Directors will approve the slate of candidates, which is then presented to the APC membership for voting.
2025 Board of Directors seats available
For 2025, four board seats will stand for election. Please see detailed information below, including candidate eligibility and term length for each board position. Click here for the 2024 Board of Directors list with districts and terms.
Candidates in District II, V, and VI must run in their designated district and are not eligible to run for an At-Large seat. Candidates may only run for the At-Large seat if there is NOT a vacancy in their primary district.
Current APC members are eligible to run only in the primary district they live and/or work in. Candidates must have a current individual pharmacist, technician or supporter membership or work for a current pharmacy/facility member and be a pharmacist, technician or supporter.
Candidates may self-nominate.
District II
Connecticut, Delaware, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Rhode Island, Vermont, and Washington, D.C.

DISTRICT V
Louisiana, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Texas
One seat available for a three-year term expiring December 31, 2027
DISTRICT VI
Colorado, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, Utah, Wisconsin, and Wyoming

AT-LARGE
Board members representing this district may be from any state.

Nominations are accepted from August 1 through August 20, 2024.
