Wired wrote about “The Crackdown on Compounded GLP-1 Meds,” where it made clear that it doesn’t quite understand compounding. Author Kate Knibbs referred to compounding as a “cottage industry” (!) and even put compounded in quotes. (This was in Wired “magazine.”)

Still, she at least quoted CEO Scott Brunner in the story, which was about how Eli Lilly is sending a new round of cease-and-desist letters to anyone in its virtual Rolodex demanding they not dispense compounded tirzepatide.
