Rochefort receives Malmberg Award
David Rochefort of Revelation Pharma is this year’s recipient of the George and Lucy Malmberg Compounding Advocacy Champion award — APC’s highest honor.
Named for Lucy Malmberg and her late husband George, the award recognizes “distinguished and extraordinary advocacy and political engagement in support of the pharmacy compounding profession,” especially when it comes to advocacy.
Rochefort was presented with the award by Lucy Malmberg herself at Compounders on Capitol Hill.
David ticks all the boxes … and then some.
Besides his job as director of government affairs for Revelation Pharma’s national network of 503A pharmacies, he’s one of two pharmacists serving in the New Hampshire House of Representatives where he sits on the influential Ways and Means Committee.
He’s also the president of the New Hampshire Board of Pharmacy where he’s served since 2018; in the last year, he helped enact a sensible adoption of USP chapter <795> and <797> rules.
On the national level, since 2017 David has been one of the 66 members of the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy, and of course he’s been a member of APC for more than 25 years, including 5 years on its board of directors where he worked on public affairs and state legislation. Oh, and he also founded our political action committee, CompPAC.
Congratulations, David — the award is well deserved!
