On Monday, APC submitted a comment letter urging the Alabama Board of Pharmacy to delay enforcement of USP <800> for 12-to-18-months to allow licensees to come into compliance with the provisions of the chapter without creating medication access issues for patients.

The Alabama Board will host a USP <800> open meeting this Monday, July 24, to discuss the adoption and implementation of USP <800> in the state.
