Associations write FDA about suspension shortages
In a joint letter to FDA this week, APHA, NCPA, and APC urged the agency to “take immediate steps to increase the supply of ibuprofen and acetaminophen oral suspensions by utilizing enforcement discretion to permit pharmacies to compound these medications to alleviate the demand for these products that exceeds the available supply.”
