FDA updates hand sanitizer GFI because of potential impurities

Some ethanol being used to create hand sanitizer comes from fuel companies; it could contain dangerous impurities. The FDA has updated its temporary guidance for creating sanitizer to take this into account by “specifying interim levels of certain impurities that we have determined can be tolerated for a relatively short period of time.”
