State update: Colorado

SB 26-066 had a hearing in the Senate Health & Human Services Committee yesterday. Even after testimony from 22 individuals opposing it and only 8 in support, the bill narrowly passed out of committee on a 5-4 vote. Obviously, this is not the outcome we were hoping for, but this isn’t the end. Now that the bill is moving to the full Senate, it’s even more important for you to ask your patients and providers to send a message opposing the bill. It will only take them 30 seconds using our super easy form, and it’s critical that Colorado senators hear from their constituents about how bad this bill is for patient access to compounded medications.
