This DC trip has never been more important

This time, it may matter more. This time, there’s an Administration that agrees with us about regulatory overreach. This time there’s a Congress primed to facilitate patients’ access to therapies that their prescriber says they need.

It's time for some citizen-lobbyists (that's YOU!) to come to DC to tell the truth to members of Congress about what's going on with compounding right now truth that they're certainly not hearing from hundreds of drugmaker lobbyists.

APC's Compounders on Capitol Hill, September 16-17, is your opportunity to advocate for compounding with policy makers who can do something about the threats to compounding from drugmakers, over-zealous regulators, and others. It’s well worth your time and expenses to come and meet with elected officials on their turf and show them that you’re passionate enough about your profession to fly all the way to DC to advocate for it.

We'll prep you for your visits – heck, we'll even schedule them for you. All you need to do is show up, ready to tell your elected representatives about your practice and the challenges it's facing.

It’s a quick trip, but here’s what you’ll accomplish:

  • Garner support from your members of Congress for our omnibus compounding bill.
  • Share the APC Blueprint to advocate for eliminating redundant, unauthorized, and ineffective policy that impedes patient access to compounded drugs.
  • Hear from a panel of national reporters about how they’re reporting on compounding in the GLP-1 era.
  • Learn from some of the top attorneys in the compounding space at our second annual Pharmacy Compounding Legal Symposium.

And by the way, as required under our Bylaws, the 2025 APC annual meeting will be held on Tuesday, September 16 in conjunction with CCH. No registration is required to attend the annual meeting; however, registration is required to attend other CCH events.

Make sure you reserve your hotel room as soon as possible, too — the deadline to receive the preferred room rate is August 25, but the room block is already three-quarters full.
