Take the #$&! survey

By now you should have received APC’s 2025 Compounder Profile Survey in your inbox (from Lance Gentry at the University of Mary Washington — lcgentry@umw.edu). 

Please take the time to fill it out. It’s our annual taking of the pulse of the compounding landscape, and the data it gives us is incredibly important. It not only informs our priorities, when you’ve got survey data from 19,000 compounding professionals, you’ve got some serious clout with everyone from politicians to policy makers to media.

What do we ask? (And yes, all the surveys are confidential — we’re interested in the aggregate picture.) We want to know the pieces that will help us build a picture of the profession: the types of compounding you do, how big your pharmacy is, where you source your ingredients, how many patients you reach. 

The whole survey should only take a few minutes (a bit longer if you’re a pharmacy owner), and the result will be an update of our 2023 Compounding Snapshot — one that reflects the world of 2025, and one that tells a story of a profession that’s critical to patient care, practiced by highly trained professionals.

The email is more than a survey. As Board Chair Gina Besteman put it, “It’s how we’ll define our profession … and fuel our advocacy.” And as our CEO tells us to put it: “Don’t wait. Take the #$&! survey.”
