If you haven’t taken the five minutes to participate in our Compounding Data Dispensing Initiative — don’t wait. (Please.)

Forgot what that is? It’s the project we’re working on with Emory University’s Rollins School of Public Health, and it hopes to collect basic data on the compounding pharmacy landscape from 100 pharmacies. We’ve made solid progress toward that goal, but we still need more of you to participate. 

This is critical if we’re going to head off a push by drugmakers to mandate reporting of compounded prescriptions to the FDA. And yes, that’s very much on the table. If you think a few minutes filling out a form (seven questions!) is even a little distracting, consider the alternative: government paperwork. We can guarantee that’ll be more than seven questions.

We need 100 pharmacies to sign up in the next month. Please help — grab the form, fill it out, and send it back. A few minutes today beats an FDA-sized headache tomorrow.
