Call for Nominations: APC 2026 standing committees
APC committees are the workhorses of the alliance — their members recommend policy, develop educational programming, promote APC’s agenda, and support the work of the Board of Directors. Committee membership is often a stepping stone to a board position.
Incoming APC Board Chair Philip Smyth is seeking knowledgeable members for seven 2026 APC standing committees. If you have ideas you want to share and develop to enhance the future of compounding, here’s where you start:
- Communications (up to 20 members)
- Education (up to 20 members)
- Federal Legislative & Regulatory (up to 40 members)
- State Legislative & Regulatory (up to 40 members)
- Membership (up to 20 members)
- Technician Services (up to 20 members)
- 2026 APC Fellowship Committee (current APC Fellows only — up to 12 members)
Committee terms run from Jan. 1 to Dec. 31, 2026, and all committee appointments must be approved by the APC Board of Directors. In addition, no one pharmacy/company may have more than two members on any committee.
If you would like to be considered for appointment, click here and fill out and submit the interest form by Nov. 21, 2025 at 5:00 pm EST. (Obviously submitting the interest form doesn’t guarantee a committee appointment.)
And yes, if you were on a committee this year, you still need to submit the interest form if you want to be considered for that same committee next year.
