California AB 1990 hearing next week, and much is at risk

California’s anti-compounding bill, AB1990, is soon to be in front of the Senate Business, Professions, and Economic Development committee; it’ll get its first hearing this coming Monday morning.

APC is pulling out all the stops to get patients and prescribers to write in and oppose AB1990. It’s been working! In just one week, members doubled the number of messages sent to lawmakers via our VoterVoice portal.

This bill might be California specific, but we all know that the state often sets the standard for much of the country. We need to put the pressure on and keep it up; better to stop this bill now than to have to counsel patients who end up cut off from their medication.
