APC: Here, there, everywhere
APC staff has been picking up the frequent-flyer miles making appearances across the country. In just the past few weeks, CEO Scott Brunner spoke (live) at … the Pharmacy Profit Summit in Dallas; the National Home Infusion Association Annual Conference in Washington, DC; and at the American Enterprise Institute, also in DC, just this week (see “AEI panel discussion: deep and nuanced” below).
Next, he and Chief Advocacy Officer Tenille Davis will embark on a cross-country state-association road trip, starting with Michigan this weekend and moving on to Colorado, Alabama, South Carolina, Kentucky, Kansas, and finally South Dakota in mid-September.
They’ll be talking about the latest in pharmacy compounding policy, marketing best practices, and of course shortage drug compounding and GLP-1s. These appearances are funded by grants from the Pharmacy Compounding Foundation.
It’s all a part of the big picture: It’s not just keeping pharmacists informed, it’s also about educating policymakers, industry leaders, and others about the importance of pharmacy compounding.
This ability to travel and represent your profession — which gets attention and which does change (and sometimes open) minds — is possible thanks to your support for APC. When you invest in APC — and we call it investment for a reason — you’re investing in your business and your patients (thankyouverymuch). We hope you’ll keep doing that.
