Again: Don’t compound with retatrutide

In case it’s not obvious, APC is not offering legal advice here, but as far as we know there is no legal authorization for pharmacists to compound retatrutide. 

So let’s be clear here: You should not be compounding retatrutide. FDA’s stance is crystal clear: “Retatrutide and cagrilintide cannot be used in compounding under federal law. Additionally, these are not components of FDA-approved drugs and have not been found safe and effective for any condition.” 

Yes, we know there’s interest in peptide therapies like retatrutide that are still in clinical development. And we know there’s been advertising by illegal pop-up shops and third party marketers. Doesn’t matter. Don’t compound it.
