Correcting compounding confusion

APC sent a letter to the Mississippi medical board this week sharing information to help them better understand compounding and the framework in which compounding of GLP-1 drugs occurs. The medical board recently withdrew their waiver that allowed off-label prescribing of GLP-1s for weight loss. In our letter, we provided accurate information on compounding of GLP-1s along with a request to reinstate the waiver.
