Attorneys general from 20 states have asked Secretary of State Marco Rubio to treat Chinese-sourced APIs used in compounded GLP-1 drugs as a national-security concern. Citing an FDA warning letter involving a Green List supplier and reports linking some Chinese peptide sellers to fentanyl-precursor networks, they seek greater scrutiny and federal-state information sharing.
